Wedding!
Don’t worry, I’m not getting married or anything. Still just little ol’ me (and Boyfriend Bill and Napoleon). However, I was recently in my first wedding a couple of weeks ago. My friends from college, Erin and Brandon were married on May 14, 2011.
I love taking photos and wanted to give them a little surprise when they came back from their honeymoon (which happened to be yesterday).
So instead of a photobook or album, I created a nice video slideshow. This isn’t anything fancy or in no way as dramatic as the ladies of “Tonka Beach”; but I think it’s a great way to summarize the experience from a Bridesmaid’s view point!
My biggest fear wasn’t tripping down the aisle, fainting at the alter or in some way ruining my friend’s wedding; I was afraid of how my hair was going to look! We had the choice to get our hair professionally done or not. I chose not to (I am a bit of a control freak), then found out later that everyone else decided to get theirs professionally done. Crap.
Now, it was too late to sign up and I still wanted to have control of my “do”. I decided to suck it up, take on the pressure and do it myself. It didn’t turn out that bad. When you watch the slideshow, you may notice a few shots where I look like “Toad” from the Mario Bros. And by that I mean I have a bit of a mushroom-looking top in some of the pictures. Oh well. I still had an absolute blast!
