Surprise, Surprise

I recently told you how our cat, Napoleon tends to lose his toy mice underneath our washing machine (for that story, click here). He never seems to learn as I found myself doing this again over the weekend.

However, I was greatly rewarded this time around.

Why, you ask?

Well, as I’m struggling with our Swiffer products to get these mice out from underneath the washing machine, I saw on the side of our washer a sweet little surprise!

A penny!

I’m sure this was mostly likely in either Boyfriend Bill’s or my pockets and just fell out while we were doing laundry one day (Yes, I do tend to solve mysteries in my spare time as well).

And since I found it, I get to keep it!

What’s really funny (well, to me at least) is that I haven’t actually put it in my homeless pennies coffee jar yet. (Gasp!)

I know! Crazy, huh? I guess I figured I’d be rescuing mice sometime again soon so I’m just waiting for when that time comes and then I’ll make sure to grab it.

Ah, laziness is bliss.
